Ordinary (full) membership - £30.00 per annum
Concessionary rate (Students and retired members) - £10.00 per annum.
Applications for membership normally require the support of two existing Members. Applicants who are not able to identify existing BSMB members to support their application, please consult the Secretary.
Retired membership will be granted by the committee to members of the society upon satisfactory proof of status. Retired members will be able to attend meetings at the concessionary rate granted to student members.
Please complete the Application form (below) and submit to the BSMB administrator, including the first payment by cheque in pounds Sterling.
We request that you fill in the enclosed Banker's Order form, to set up annual payments to be made on the 1st January every year.
Members from outside the UK may consult the Treasurer for alternative forms of payment; either by bank transfer or by credit card. Note that we will impose an additional charge of £2.50 on all credit card payments.
Note that applications made in the last 3 months of the year (1st October to 31st December) will not require payment of the current year's subscription. Payment will be required for the full amount of the fees due in the next calendar year (1st January onwards). However, the benefits of membership will apply from receipt and processing of the application form by the BSMB membership administrator, Jane Lohmann.
