How to Submit Abstracts

 

When you click on the abstract submission link below you will be asked to choose whether to present your abstract to the BSMB committee or to the BRS committee.

Please note that the two societies have different procedures for reviewing abstracts. Your choice of submission route will depend on the subject of the abstract and whether you wish your abstract to be published in the journal Calcified Tissue International (via BRS committee) or in the International Journal of Experimental Pathology (via BSMB committee). You do not need to be a member of either society to submit abstracts. Members of both societies are free to choose one or other routes. Do not submit the same abstract to both societies.

BSMB members will find it helpful to know their BSMB membership number and password. Contact the BSMB administrator, Jane Lohmann, if you need to be reminded of your membership number and/or password.

After you have selected your submission route you will be asked to enter text into a series of forms. The abstract text may be entered directly, or cut and pasted from a pre-prepared document. The process will generate publication-ready abstracts in the correct format.
